CALVIN C TERRY

Calvin C. Terry, age 65 years, of Greenwood, Kentucky died April 13, 2012 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.  Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Coffey and Rev. John Duvall, Jr. officiating.  Burial was in the Soloman Cemetery.

He was born in Greenwood, Kentucky on August 12, 1946 the son of the late John Carl and Rhoda Ett (Taylor) Terry.  He was a Forest Service Ranger, a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of the Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church.

His parents, brother, Ray Terry; sister, Florence Perkins; and brother in law, Ray Stanton precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife Erma Joyce (Baker) Terry, sons, James Calvin Terry and wife Sheila and Jason Irvin Terry and wife Tiffany all of Greenwood, Kentucky; daughter, Joie Lynn Kay Duncan and husband Greg of Strunk, Kentucky; brothers and sisters, Lois Geneva Meadows and husband Kelsie of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Joann Stanton of Tateville, Kentucky, Albert J. Terry and wife Francis of Whitley City, Kentucky, Carl D. Terry, Lenvil L. Terry and wife Teresa both of Tateville, Kentucky, Bobby Joe Terry and wife Wilma of Eubank, Kentucky, Lola Mae Nash of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and Eddie D. Terry of Science Hill, Kentucky, brother in law, Bobby Perkins of Stearns, Kentucky, and sister in law, Judy Terry of Eubank, Kentucky.  Grandchildren, Justin Terry, Heather Terry, Laura Duncan, Austin, Duncan, and Jazmine Terry also survive.
