Calvin David (Cab) Hicks, age 59 of London, Kentucky died at his residence Friday December 2, 2011.
Funeral service was held Sunday, December 4, 2011, 11:00 am. at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial was in the Pleasant Knob Cemetery.
He was born in McCreary County on January 28, 1952 the son of the late James Hobart and Oda Ruby Elizabeth Higginbotham Hicks.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Vickie Brummett Hicks and two stepsons Michael and Phillip Carpenter all of London, Kentucky. He is also survived by the following brothers and sister Verdie Batman, and Minnie Haag and husband Floyd of Phoenix, Arizona, Robert Hicks and wife Willie of Jellico, Tennessee, Linda Caldwell and husband George, Alvin Hicks and wife Marie of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, and Carlos Hicks and wife Lisa of Ballground, Georgia. Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with local arrangements.
