Bruce Wayne Bartley age 60 years of Whitley City, Kentucky died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 24, 2011 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Randy Fisher officiating. Burial followed in the Angel Cemetery with full Military Honors.
He was born January 16, 1951 in Oneida, Tennessee to Edward G. Bartley and Thelma Swain Bartley. Bruce was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served his country in war. He was a member of the American Legion post #115 and the VFW #569.
His mother, father, and brother, Edward Bartley precedes him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda (Strunk) Bartley of Whitley City, Kentucky; a daughter, Belinda McKnight and husband, Curtis of Somerset, Kentucky; a brother, Tom Bartley of Knoxville, Tennessee; and a grandson, Brendan McKnight.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
