Bobbie Jean Stout Smith, age 79 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died March 11, 2012 at her home. Funeral services were held Wednesday March 14, 2012 at 12pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Braxton King officiating. Burial was in the Silerville Cemetery.
She was born December 21, 1932 at Worley Hilltop, Kentucky the daughter of the late Sidney and Elva (Heath) Stephens. She was an assembly line worker for Duffy’s Tool and Die and of the Baptist Faith.
Her parents, daughter, Linda Gial Stout Schultz; and brothers Lonnie “Bud†Stephens and Hasten “Hack†Stephens precede her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Russel E. Smith of Orlando, Florida; sons Gary Wayne Stout of Strunk, Kentucky and Russy Smith of Orlando, Florida; daughters, Barbara Sue Stout Lindley of Arizona, Sheila Stout Stevens of Strunk, Kentucky, Lindsey Renee Smith of Revelo, Kentucky, and Jill Smith of Orlando, Florida; brothers, Glen Stephens of Sidney, Ohio and Ray Stephens of Pine Knot, Kentucky; and sisters, Wilma Criswell of Muncie, Indiana and Lorene Richardson of Sidney, Ohio. 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
