Bobbie Jo Shelton Stephens, age 44 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died March 13, 2012 in Oneida, Tennessee at the St. Mary’s of Scott County Hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 8pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Perry Dobbs officiating. Burial was in the Keith-Morrow Cemetery on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 12pm.
She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on October 7, 1967 the daughter of Janice (Bybee) Staley and the late Calvin Staley. She was a supervisor apprentice at OVC and former member of the ROTC and HOSA.
Her father precedes her in death.
Survivors include her son, David Stephens of Whitley City; Kentucky, daughter, Heather Branscum of Burnside, Kentucky; mother, Janice Staley; fiancé, Dale Bradburn both of Whitley City, Kentucky; brothers, David Shelton of Whitley City, Kentucky, Tim Shelton of Pennsylvania, and Larry Shelton of Burnside, Kentucky; and sister, Robin Shelton of Whitley City, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Emma Branscum, Paityn Branscum, and Aly Stephens also survive.
