Billie Earl Vanover

Billie Earl Vanover Sr. son of the late Billie Earl Vanover and Earline Bryant Holbert, passed away July 14, 2023 at Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, Billie is preceded in death by his brother Mike Holbert.

He is survived by his companion of 18 years; Sherry Foster, and her children, Justin Foster and Shelli Wright, sons; Blane Vanover and wife Brittany, Billy Vanover Jr. and Josh Vanover all of Burnside, Kentucky, Daughters; Melissa Vanover of Cincinnati, Ohio and Alisha Vanover of Science Hill, Kentucky, brother; Luther “Lou” Vanover and wife Jeanne of Cincinnati, Ohio, along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Billie enjoyed 4-wheel riding, playing the guitar, he loved UK Basketball and his family.

Services for Billy Vanover are Friday, July 21, 2023 in the Chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home, visitation begins at 12:00 noon with funeral at 2:00 pm with brother Damon Stephens officiating.  Burial will follow in Higginbotham Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made at the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
