Beverly Janine Jones

Beverly Janine Jones, age 53, of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed away at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital on April 11, 2023.

Beverly was born in Somerset, Kentucky on September 9, 1969 to Lonnie Jones and Alice Faye (Shoopman) Jones. She was very crafty, she liked to paint, draw, and complete crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Beverly is survived by her parents; her husband, John Swangin; her daughters, Alysia Jones, of Whitley City, Alison Henry (L.A.) of Pine Knot, Whitney Dishman (Ryan), of Monticello; her brother, Randy Jones, of Stearns; her sister, Tammy Lawson, of Somerset; and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Beverly will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2pm in the Chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation from 12pm until the time for service on Thursday. Burial will be in the private family cemetery on Skullbone Tower Road.
