Beulah Mae Meadows age 99 of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at her home. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Strunk and Bro. Jim Strunk officiating. Burial followed in the Angel Cemetery.
She was born September 8, 1912 in Jamestown, Tennessee to John C. Foster and Lucy Lois (Chrisp) Foster. Beulah was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the White Oak Junction Baptist Church.
Her mother, father, husband, Charlie Roscoe Meadows, sons, James and Zethel “Bud†Meadows, a daughter, Wanda Louise Hamblin, brothers, Charlie Edgar Foster and John Alfred Foster, sisters, Lula Laxton, Elsie Jane Reagan, Zula Marie Hughes, and Jewlene Foster, and 3 grandchildren precede Beulah in death.
She is survived by her son, Lemual Meadows of Winfield, Tennessee, a daughter, Glenna Lee Watters of Pine Knot, Kentucky, a brother, Peirce Dean Foster of Whitley City, Kentucky, a sister, Linda Sue Keith of Whitley City, Kentucky, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
