BETTY KEMPLIN

Betty Angel Kemplin, age 65 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died in Corbin, Kentucky at the Baptist Regional Medical Center on December 28, 2013.  Funeral services were held Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Perry officiating.  Burial was in the Taylor Ridge Cemetery.

She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 16, 1948 the daughter of the late Francis and Gladys (Carter) Angel.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting dolls, canning and especially spending time with her family.

Her parents; and husband, Elmer Jackson Kemplin, and one brother, Oscar Angel precedes her in death.

Survivors include her son, Eric Kemplin and wife, Hayley of Strunk, Kentucky; daughter, Patricia Ann Watters and companion Warren Stephens of Whitley City; brothers Estil and wife Barb Angel of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Norman and wife Terri Linn Angel of Enterprise, Alabama, sisters; Wanda Roberts of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Cindy and husband Roger Moore of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Faye and husband Phillip Jones of Stearns, Kentucky, and Imogene Thomas of Somerset, Kentucky, Emma and husband Al Secrest of Corbin, Kentucky, Georgia and husband Bobby Sroufe of Somerset, Kentucky,, Norma Elam of Whitley City, Kentucky and Dora and husband Bob Marlow of Whitley City, Kentucky; 3 grandchildren; Stephen Watters, Candance Watters and Kennedi Kemplin and 5 great grandchildren.
