Barbara Jean Trammell

Barbara Jean Trammell, age 70 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born in Oneida, Tennessee on November 20, 1954 the daughter of the late Robert and Louise (Cooper) Morgan. Barbara was a homemaker and member of the Marsh Creek Baptist. She loved doing crafts, but her greatest enjoyment was her great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Ellen Louise Worley; and sister, Judy Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, William Robert “Bob” Trammell of Strunk, Kentucky; son-in-law, Michael Worley of Stearns, Kentucky; brothers, Wendell Morgan of Strunk, Kentucky, Ronnie Dean Morgan of Stearns, Kentucky, and Allen Wayne Morgan of Marshes Siding, Kentucky; sisters, Phyllis Sammons of Stearns, Kentucky and Susan Watson of Stearns, Kentucky; grandson Garrett Worley (Meghan) and great grandchildren, Nora and Lilyann Worley.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Monday, March 10, 2025 at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Marsh Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Monday at the Funeral Home.
