Barbara Ann Nicholas

Barbara Ann Nicholas, age 66 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born in Sidney, Ohio on November 14, 1952 the daughter of Dewey Davis and Thelma (Spradlin) Hill. Barbara was a homemaker, attended the Church of the Living God, loved flowers, gardening, genealogy, and saving homeless kittens.

Her parents; an infant daughter, and grandchild, Chris Payne precede her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Derek Jones (Cheryl) and Greg Payne Payne (Carlotta) both of Whitley City, and Chris Payne (Dana) of London; brother, Ronald Davis (Carmen) of Whitley City; grandchildren, Jackie and Deannie Payne, Felicia Fletcher, Felicia Sanders, Sam McCullah, Colton and Kyera Kilgore; Dalton Floyd and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 11, 2019 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Holloway Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the funeral home.
