Arnold Ray Watson, age 61 years, Stearns, Kentucky died January 27, 2010 at St. MaryOs/ Scott County, Oneida, Tennessee. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 30, 2010 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Thompson and Rev. Ray Sumner officiating. Burial was in Corder Cemetery. He was born at McCreary County, Kentucky on September 25, 1948 the son of the late Virgil and Goldie Bryant Watson. He was a retired steel mill worker and member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. His parents and the following brothers, Dorman Watson; Donald Watson and two infant brothers precede him in death. Two grandchildren are deceased. Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Gibson Watson and his sons, Jimmy Vaughn and wife, Sandra; Ernie Vaughn and wife, Amanda; Joseph Vaughn and wife, Beverly and Brian Gibson and wife, Thelma, Whitley City, Kentucky. The surviving brother is Sherman Watson, Whitley City, Kentucky and surviving sister, Brenda Bryant, Pine Knot, Kentucky. Four grandchildren and one great grandchild survive.
