ANNA V. ROLLINS

Anna Vlisteen Helton Rollins, age 52, passed from this life on May 8, 2020, at the Casey County Hospital in Liberty, Kentucky.

She was the loving daughter of Patricia (Pearson) Helton and the late James R. Helton.  Besides her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Ray Helton and a nephew, Shawn Helton.

Surviving family include her mother, Pat Helton of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, a brother, James Helton of Parkers Lake, special nieces and nephews: Jolie Ann Coomer, Jason King, “Jack” Jonah Helton, Joni Helton, Jamie Coomer and James V. Helton.

Anna attended the Whitley City Church of God. She graduated from McCreary County High School and went on to Somerset Community College to receive a certificate for computer tech. She enjoyed riding in the woods with her brother, and loved fishing and enjoyed driving.  She took honor in standing ovation at school graduation.  She was disabled but was a strong-willed person.  She beat the odds that were against her and survived 50 years longer than predicted when she was born.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private graveside services were held at Strunk-Yancey Cemetery with Bro. Bruce Dixon officiating Monday.
