Andy LD Crabtree

Bro. Andy LD Crabtree, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, departed this life at this home on January 6, 2015 being 70 years, 7 months, and 1 day old. He was born in Jamestown, Tennessee on June 5, 1944 son of the late Isam and Clessie (Smith) Crabtree.

Andy worked his whole life doing what he loved at the Auto Body Shop; enjoyed fishing, playing horse shoes, and fixing old cars. He was the founder ( 1993-2014) of the Log Cabin Church of God and a member.

Along with Andy’s parents he is preceded in death by his brothers; Earnest Crabtree, Junior Crabtree, Eugen Crabtree, Asberry Crabtree, sisters; Mary Ruth Bentley, and Anna Rose Morgan.

Survived by; his loving wife of 50 years Shirley Crabtree,  two sons; Rick and wife Tonya Crabtree of Pine Knot, KY, Paul and wife Katrina Crabtree of Stearns, KY one daughter; Beverly and husband Danny Risner of Pine Knot, KY , nine grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 8:00 PM in the Chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Wilson and Bro. Tim Stephens officiating. Graveside Services will be conducted Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10 AM at the Jones Cemetery. McCreary County Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements
