Amos Junior Rollins, age 76, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at his home in Bronston, Kentucky, with his family by his side.
Born in Sawyer, Kentucky, on January 4, 1940, he was the son of the late Robert and Lucy (Vanover) Rollins. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers: Darrell Rollins, William Rollins, James Rollins and Mintford Rollins, and two sisters: Dorine Ohler and Mary Zeller.
Surviving family include his wife Golden R. (Hensley) Rollins of Bronston, three daughters: Donna Baugh (and David) of Bronston, Kentucky, Sherri Jackson of Somerset, Kentucky, and Jennifer Ashley (and Jason) of Somerset, and a son: Deztin Rollins (and Sebrina) of Bronston, three brothers: Harold Rollins (and Shirley) of Sawyer, Roger Rollins (and Ruth) of Freemont, Ohio, and Dale Rollins (and Julie) of Hamilton, Ohio, two sisters: Norma Rose (and Carness) of Sawyer, Kentucky, and Wanda Perry (and Pete) of Eagle . There are three grandchildren: Brandon, Caitlin, and Kai and two great grandchildren: Logan and Ashton.
Amos was a retired truck driver having last worked for Putnam Transfer and Storage in Cincinnati Ohio. He was a member of the Sloans Valley Missionary Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He very much enjoyed fishing and being a jokester and prankster.

Burial: Eagle Creek Cemetery
Visitation: Monday, February 22, 2016, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
