Alfreda Roberts

Alfreda Roberts, age 70 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Thursday, January 30, 2025 at her home.

She was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 4, 1954 the daughter of the late Nelson and Flora (Cox) Jones. Alfreda had been a homemaker and member of the Murphy Ridge Church of God. She enjoyed singing gospel music, going to the flea market and watching TV.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Gary Lee Roberts.

Survivors include her husband, Boyd Roberts of Pine Knot, Kentucky; son, Kelly Roberts of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sisters, Ruth Dotson and Penny Jones both of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Lisa Osbourne of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Sue Watson of Revelo, Kentucky and Nancy Tharp of Indiana; grandchildren, Kristin Barnett (Jerad), Cody Roberts, and Madilyn Roberts; and great grandchildren, Brantlee Barnett, Baylee Barnett, and Blakelee Barnett.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Dean Phillips officiating. Burial to follow in the Keith Morrow Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm Saturday at the Funeral Home.
