Ailene Stephens

Ailene Stephens, age 79 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died Thursday, February 16, 2017 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born March 30, 1937 the daughter of Lawrence and Charlene Morgan.  Ailene was of the Baptist Faith, loved her Spring flowers, reading, and the UK Wildcats.

Her parents and brother, Gary Morgan precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Stephens, whom she married January 6, 1984; son, Darrell Stephens of Stephens, Kentucky; daughter Sherrie Burk (Anthony Sims); brothers, Eugene Morgan of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Doyle Morgan of Stearns, Kentucky, Tommy Morgan of Somerset, Kentucky, and James Morgan of Stearns, Kentucky; sisters, Virginia Jones of Revelo, Kentucky and Sue Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio; granddaughter, Nicole Kidd and husband, Sam; and 1 great grandson on the way.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 20, 2017 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Braxton King and Bro. Hilton Duncan officiating.  Burial to follow in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after 6pm Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the funeral home.
