Abner Buddy Jenkins

Abner Buddy Jenkins, age 79 years, 10 months and 24 days, companion of Sheila Taylor and son of the late Loyd and Ocia Mae Collier Jenkins, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at the Ohio Valley Manor Rehab.

He was born June 11, 1939, in Louellen, Harlan County, Kentucky.  He was of the Baptist faith and after his retirement he enjoyed sitting on the back porch, piddling in his garage and wood working.

In addition to his parents, Abner is preceded in death by his brother and sister.

He is survived by his companion, Sheila Taylor and her children, Melissa and husband Mike Holzmacher of California, Kentucky, Brian Taylor and Johannis Pareigis both of Suisun City, California.

Gathering of family and friends will be held at McCreary County Funeral Home on Friday, May 10, 2019 beginning at 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm with burial to follow in the Pleasant Run Cemetery.
